Beautiful leisure area located less than a kilometer from “Viso da Porta da Veiga”, one of the best views south of Lima. Below the “Penedo das Fadigas” and within a small pedestrian path marked with the name of O Cebreiro – Rainha Loba. The fountain has always been a meeting place for the locals to start hunting the wolf, so close by is one of the biggest “wolf pits” in the Iberian Peninsula, where the animal was surrounded to kill it.

The route, which passes through the Peneda da “Rainha Loba” and the “Peneda das Fadigas”, is about 12 km long, is circular and can be done in about three hours on foot. The entire path is full of mid-mountain vegetation, mainly pines and oaks. Peneda das Fadigas is a rocky massif topped off in an anthropomorphic round shape. The views from there are spectacular, with the Serra do Larouco, the Salas valley, the surroundings of the Gerês-Xurés cross-border Biosphere Reserve (RBTGX) or the entire Limia plain.
