Limia-Lima River Cross-Border Territory
The Limia-Lima River cross-border area is a natural paradise between the Galician province of Ourense and the north of Portugal. Great cultural heritage and river richness, impressive Roman archaeological remains, villages with deep-rooted traditions, natural landscapes between streams and mountains, and incredible trails, river landscapes and routes to be discovered.
What to see in the Limia-Lima River area?
An exciting journey through the most emblematic and beautiful territories that surround the river from its birth in Monte Talariño (Sarreaus), through the slopes, the valleys and the large extension of native forests of the Serra do Xurés Natural Park, to its mouth in the Atlantic Ocean, in a final unique section through Ponte de Lima and Viana do Castelo.
