Framed by its more than 100 kilometres of route through the province of Ourense and the North of Portugal, the Limia-Lima River reveals a journey of nature and adventure. It is a journey through the 20 municipalities and the 4 Municipal Chambers that belong to the Limia-Lima river basin that allows us to explore privileged environments that combine environmental and cultural resources.
This journey begins in Monte Talariño (Sarreaus, Ourense) and travels through the regions to which it gives its name: A Limia and Baixa Limia, in the Galician territory, continuing through the Portuguese municipalities of Arcos de Valdevez, Ponte da Barca and Ponte de Lima, until it ends in an impressive final stretch in Viana do Castelo, in the Atlantic Ocean.
The aim of these audiovisual resources is to promote and highlight the natural and cultural heritage offered by this cross-border territory that flows between Spain and Portugal along the Limia-Lima river.
