Between May 6 and 9, Alto Minho hosted digital influencers for an “Adventure Trip”

Six digital influencers gathered from May 6 to 9 in Alto Minho for a lively adventure. The guests were Cláudia Pinto, Bell, Gonçalo Cabral, Afonso Lopes, Madalena Bonvalot and Pedro Sturkena. This is an initiative supported by the cross-border cooperation project “Fronteira Esquecida Limia-Lima”, approved by the INTERREG V-A Spain-Portugal program (POCTEP), of which the Intermunicipal Community of Alto Minho (CIM Alto Minho) is a partner, which aims to promote and enhance the natural and cultural resources of the Limia-Lima river, involving entities from both sides of the border, in the promotion and joint tourist exploitation of this area.

Viana do Castelo was the city chosen for the beginning of the “Adventure Trip”, which took place until Sunday, through the municipalities of Ponte de Lima, Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez. The program includes horseback riding, hiking on trails known only to the locals, cannyoning, bike rides, among other activities. “The Adventure Trip” traveled along paths leading to the Santa Luzia Sanctuary, through the best beaches in the region, and a picnic was also held with the sunset as a backdrop at the Santo Antão viewpoint. This initiative aims to boost quality tourism and the local economy in the cross-border context of the Alto Minho region.

This event aims to demonstrate that more than old stories to tell, the Alto Minho has new stories to unveil. This “Adventure Trip” can be followed on the social networks of the influencers and the CIM Alto Minho.
